Un nouveau chapitre s’ouvre pour l’artiste portoricain. Après plusieurs mois d’attente et de rumeurs, Bad Bunny dévoile sa première chaussure signature avec adidas.
He had promised: every project would be a reinvention. And once again, Bad Bunny keeps his word. After dominating the charts, shaking up the Latin scene, and redefining fashion codes, Benito lifts the veil on his next collaboration with the three-stripe brand: the adidas BadBo 1.0. Since his early days with adidas, Bad Bunny has turned every release into an event, but this time, the shift is clear. No reinterpretation, no homage: the silhouette is entirely new.
Designed from the ground up, it embodies Benito's artistic identity: free, avant-garde, elusive. From reinvented Forum Lows to reworked Response CLs, through retooled Campus, each of his previous collaborations has championed a singular vision. But with the BadBo 1.0, the artist moves to a total creation, at the crossroads of performance and personal expression.
First spotted in April in BOKeTE, the pair was initially seen as an exclusive prototype, before early previews confirmed the arrival of a signature model. An appearance that coincided with the DeBi TiRAR Mas FOTos visual cycle, during which Bad Bunny was multiplying aesthetic experiments and already announcing the dawn of a new chapter in his collaboration with adidas.
A design between heritage and rebellion
With its mid-top profile, the BadBo 1.0 claims a basketball heritage from the 90s, while fitting into an adidas Originals language. Its sculpted midsole, suede overlays, and raised construction give it a strong visual identity, halfway between technical design and lifestyle approach. But it's above all its winged cage system, replacing traditional laces, that draws attention. This bold choice echoes the spirit of freedom and creative independence that defines Benito's universe. Every element seems designed to tell a story: that of an artist who refuses repetition and makes fashion a space for expression.

In terms of colorway and inaugural silhouette, the BadBO 1.0 is revealed in "Resilience", a tone that fully embodies the spirit of the pair. Inside, the handwritten mention "adidas para Bad Bunny" signs the model and confirms the continuity of a partnership where every detail matters. Even before its commercial release, the pair had already found its place in the duo's history. During The Archive exhibition, organized in early August at the Puerto Rico Museum of Art, the BadBo 1.0 was among the centerpieces, at the heart of a retrospective tracing more than 100 collaborations.

But the BadBo 1.0 isn't limited to this first model. Cleated versions are already planned, designed to accompany the artist on stage as well as on the field, confirming a hybrid dimension. Between basketball heritage, technological innovation, and artistic statement, the BadBo 1.0 asserts itself as a visual manifesto, an extension of Benito's musical and creative world, and the promise of an early 2026 defined by freedom and reinvention.
