It's official, Crocs has confirmed the extension of its collaboration with the New York-based designer, naming him creative director of the Crocs Pollex Crog collection.
Combining innovation and utility by bringing modern design languages to life that resonate with new audiences. These are the shared values between Crocs and the footwear designer. Now, the partnership that unites them will be able to expand as Salehe Bembury joins the brand to evolve his Pollex design over the next 2 years.
This is significant news, as since 2021, the fruitful collaboration between the two partners has played a central role and given new life to the brand once nicknamed "ugly shoes". From now on, Bembury's Crocs Pollex clog embodies the exploration between form and function, delivering a true balance between cultural heritage and novelty.
"His unique approach to design has brought a new perspective to our molded form and allowed us to connect with new consumers. Looking ahead, we are thrilled to continue this partnership and expand into exciting new silhouettes," said Michelle Poole, president of casual footwear.

Salehe Bembury x Crocs: a unified vision
"For many years, product collaborations and partnerships have been at the heart of our brand strategy, and we are very proud of what we have been able to create in partnership with Salehe."
As a forward-thinking designer, he was the first to completely reimagine the brand's classic model. While Crocs initially approached Salehe Bembury and offered to send him a pair, it was on his own initiative that he suggested a collaboration. Inspired by the idea of transforming the Classic Clog, this interest ultimately led to one of the most successful partnerships of the past two years.
"We exist in a 'here today, gone tomorrow' collaboration landscape, so the value lies in long-term relationships and that's what we've established. Good design exercises restraint and balances utility with beauty, and the Pollex Pod represents that by successfully merging the Crocs brand identity with my own brand identity," said Salehe Bembury.
As such, it appears that new silhouettes will be announced soon. An opportunity to rediscover the Salehe Bembury x Crocs Pollex Crog in new versions that are sure to be particularly appealing.
