Nigel Sylvester is back. The New York rider launches his campaign "Brick After Brick" starring rapper Young Jeezy. Shot in New York, the campaign reveals his upcoming silhouette in collaboration with the Jordan brand, a pair that's more understated than the Air Jordan 4 “Brick by Brick”. Gone is the bright red; instead, we have a more nuanced palette, with a base dominated by off-white, a gray sole, and subtly placed red accents that echo the Jordan 4 “Fire Red.” Same story. Different energy. While this new design opts for a more discreet aesthetic, it doesn't shy away from the narrative depth that characterizes Sylvester's work. Where the “Brick by Brick” celebrated resilience and personal elevation (two key values in his journey), this Air Jordan 4 seems to want to maintain that energy while exploring a more refined direction. The design fits within the OG codes while asserting a strong identity that respects the brand's traditions. The release of the pair is set for May 9th. Mark your calendars!
