The curtain rises for the Paris edition of the Fashion Week from September 29 to October 7. Between exhibitions and pop-ups, retailers promise once again beautiful collaborations. A look at the sneaker events that will mark the Spring/Summer 2026 catwalk in the capital.
Virgil Abloh, his codes come to life at the Grand Palais
The capital is preparing to celebrate one of its most disruptive creators. The Grand Palais opens its doors to The Codes, the first European retrospective dedicated to the designer who passed away in 2021. Designed as a multidisciplinary manifesto, this monumental exhibition, led by the Virgil Abloh Archives in partnership with Nike, unveils nearly 20,000 pieces. On the agenda: sketches, objects, works, from two decades of creation. From sneakers to conceptual works, from Louis Vuitton runways to architectural projects, the exhibition deploys its codes that connect Off-White and its most cutting-edge collaborations. Inaugurated on September 30 (the very day of his birthday), and then installed until October 10, 2025, The Codes is set to offer a true act of memory, a living tribute to the one who redefined the contours of contemporary creation.

The creative collective Air Afrique continues its ascent with Nike by inaugurating a pop-up in the capital. From Friday, October 3 to Saturday, October 4, the two partners launch a space designed as a stopover between history, craftsmanship, and Afrodiasporic culture to accompany the launch of the Air Max RK61. Imagined as a journey between past and present, the two designs celebrate the legacy of the former pan-African airline through a silhouette blending futuristic design and collective memory, continuing Air Afrique's work: to foster dialogue between cultures and reinvent history through a contemporary lens. On Friday evening, the collective will extend the experience with the Air Afrique Social Club, a gala evening in the spirit of Première Classe. Ahead of the global release scheduled for October 9, a conversation and an exclusive pre-launch will also take place on October 7 at Dover Street Market. RSVP and more information coming soon.
Jacquemus paves the way for the Moon Shoe
The Swoosh has never hidden its taste for bold collaborations. But combining its historical heritage with Jacquemus' minimalist vision is almost an art. His latest collaborative project? The ”JacuMoon”, a reinterpretation of the Moon Shoe, born in the 1970s and considered one of the first icons of the sportswear brand. After exploring silhouettes like the Humara or pieces inspired by athletic wardrobes, Jacquemus is now tackling Nike's founding icon. Unveiled for the first time during the Paris Fashion Week in January, the collaboration is set to make its mark on September 29 as well as in-store this Sunday at 58 avenue Montaigne. Join us at 11 am to meet the French designer and his latest creation in collaboration with Nike.
Hyperice x Nike Hyperboot: the experience before the release
From September 26 to 28, the Nike Run Area 72 becomes the playground for curious athletes to discover the Hyperboot in preview, a revolutionary high-top pair. Designed to enhance warm-up and recovery, the pair heats and massages the foot and ankle thanks to a compressed air system and heating pockets; adjustable on three levels according to needs. Designed to optimize athletes' performance, it has been tested by athletes from all disciplines, who praise a feeling of lightness and freedom from the first use. Officially available on October 2 on Nike, the capital can already experience it for an entire weekend at 17 rue Bréguet, located in the 11th arrondissement.
Vicinity settles in the capital
The British brand sets up its bags on the banks of the Seine. From September 26 to 28, Vicinity opens the doors of its Parisian pop-up store, located at 63 quai de la Tournelle. Just steps from Notre-Dame, the brand promises a weekend focused on meeting and community. On the agenda: free drinks, live DJ set, brand universe. The final touch?
