SNKRS Day is fast approaching! It will start on August 8 between 8 AM and 9 AM and will take place exclusively on the SNKRS app where you can attend live events, interactive games, raffles, exclusive drops, and surely other surprises.
An excellent August for sneaker addicts
This summer, two important events mark the sneaker world. First, you surely witnessed the Yeezy Day that took place on August 2 (USA and Canada) and August 3 (Europe and Asia) 2022. This event divided the community but overall it was a great success with its many restocks and exclusive releases. Just a few days later, on August 8, it's the turn of SNKRS Day to entertain sneaker addicts and offer exclusives. To differentiate itself from the German equipment manufacturer, the swoosh brand puts the user experience at the heart of its day by offering entertainment on its SNKRS app as well as physical events in three major cities. Of course, there will be some exclusives on the agenda, but part of it remains a secret until the big day.
The anticipated SNKRS Day 2022
The offerings from last year's SNKRS Day were rather criticized and did not resonate with the community. The brand offered three pairs: an Air Jordan 1 Low, a Nike Air Huarache, and an Air Jordan 4 Lightning. The first two had leopard print panels and a particular colorway that did not please everyone. Only the raffle for the Air Jordan 4 Lightning offered at the end of the day managed to comfort the participants.
This year, to celebrate the five years since the launch of the SNKRS app, the Air Force 1 Low is in the spotlight. Additionally, the silhouette by Bruce Kilgore created in 1982 celebrates its 40th anniversary this year and has been revealed with new colorways for several months. It seemed natural for a pair of Air Force 1 to be reinvented for SNKRS Day. The year 2022 also marks the 35th anniversary of a flagship model from the American equipment manufacturer: the Air Max 1. An exclusive model of the famous design by Tinker Hatfield, inspired by the George Pompidou Center, will also make its appearance on August 8. On the occasion of the app's fifth anniversary, the legendary model of the Nike Air Force 1 is dressed in white woven mesh and a stunning brown pebbled leather lateral swoosh. The sportswear brand plays on the eco-friendly aspect with a deubré and a hangtag made of wood that harmonizes with the sneaker's colorway.

- Nike Air Max 1 WMNS “Bright Yellow”
With its summer colorway, this Nike Air Max 1 should please sneaker addicts during SNKRS Day. The lemon yellow color on the swoosh and mudguard enhances the classic white upper, making it a must-have for women this summer.

- Air Jordan 1 High Retro OG “Yellow Toe”
Yellow is one of the trendy colorways this season and will therefore be highlighted during the day dedicated to the Nike app. This new tricolor edition of the Air Jordan 1 by Peter Moore takes the OG colorblocking and will certainly make a splash on this special day.
Announced since 2019, the Air Jordan 1 High Retro OG “Yellow Toe” will be released on August 8, 2022, for €180 on SNKRS.

View on the calendarFinally, ready-to-wear is expected for this special day, with a premium collection in the colors of the Nike Air Force 1 Low “SNKRS Day”. It consists of two t-shirts, two sweatshirts, and a beautiful varsity jacket. Each piece of this capsule features a five in Roman numerals in honor of the app's fifth anniversary, as well as the date of SNKRS Day on the back. It will be released on August 8 at 1:45 PM on SNKRS, with prices ranging from €44.99 to €99.99.
Entertainment at the heart of the event
Of course, there will certainly be other exclusives on this special and highly anticipated day, but we do not yet have all the information. Starting at 9 AM, you can participate in interactive lives on the SNKRS app that may give you access to raffles. Also, you may have the chance to be selected for exclusive access and thus cop unique pairs outside of the official launch. You will be informed throughout the day by notifications, so be sure to enable them!
In addition to the interaction on the app, there will be physical events in three major capitals: Paris, Berlin, and London. To participate in Paris, you had to register via SNKRS for the event “SNKRS Day Celebration Paris” to be on the waiting list and hope to be drawn to receive your invitation. On the agenda: DJ sets, community talks, and certainly other privileges, from 3 PM to 9 PM at the Yard Gallery, 7 rue de Paradis, 75010 Paris.
Unprecedented restocks?
As with Yeezy Day, many rumors are circulating about the return of certain pairs for exclusive access. Of course, we do not guarantee this information and you should not be disappointed on the big day! However, if this is the case, SNKRS Day could well raise the bar from previous years and overshadow the German brand's day.
