After officially announcing their partnership earlier this year, the American artist and the California brand present VANSZA, a first collection inspired by SZA's world and daily life. Unveiled during New York Fashion Week, the project combines footwear and ready-to-wear around nature and personal expression. The first part of the collection will drop in October, with a second chapter planned for 2027.

For this first drop, SZA reworks two Vans classics. The Knu Skool ditches its heel to become the VANSZA Knu Skool Mule, while the Authentic transforms into the Authentic Kickdown. On the latter, the singer draws directly from her way of wearing sneakers, featuring a foldable heel. The sneaker is completed with a deliberately aged canvas and illustrations by Sage Adams. In terms of ready-to-wear, the collection takes a similar approach with casual pieces inspired by SZA's personal wardrobe.
A second drop expected in next spring will introduce the LX Tabi Hiker, a new silhouette that brings a split-toe construction into the Vans catalog. Designed for exploration and inspired by the outdoors, the silhouette will be accompanied by a camouflage Knu Skool. The launch of the VANSZA collection is set for October 22, 2026, ahead of the second drop on April 8, 2027.
