The mysterious Cynthia Lu has once again made headlines with her label Cactus Plant Flea Market. Indeed, while she recently unveiled a Cactus Plant Flea Market x Nike Dunk Low "Grinch" in collaboration with Nike, it is in partnership with McDonald's that she decided to let her fascinating creativity run free. Through an unprecedented experience, the two collaborators planned a superb trip down memory lane followed by a brilliant capsule collection featuring no fewer than twenty-eight pieces.
The First Adult Happy Meal?
This is not the first time McDonald's has collaborated with artists, and McDonald's x Travis Scott is undoubtedly the partnership that left its mark on streetwear culture. Launched in 2020, it gave the Astroworld rapper the opportunity to offer a Quarter Pounder menu along with a total of 59 merch pieces ranging from a tie-dye tee featuring the rapper's menu to a hoodie incorporating the brand's key elements. And of course, he did not hesitate to bring his signature Cactus Jack touch that we particularly appreciate.
If the concept worked particularly well, CPFM and McDonald's followed the same model while offering a concept for those who remain young at heart. Indeed, the two collaborators developed an Adult Happy Meal that includes a Big Mac or 10-piece nuggets of your choice, accompanied by medium fries, a drink and a CPFM x McDonald's figurine.

"We're taking one of the most nostalgic McDonald's experiences and literally repackaging it in a new way that is hyper-relevant to our adult fans," said Tariq Hassan, Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer at McDonald's USA, in a statement.
The box could be ordered at participating restaurants or through the McDonald's app. The app even allowed customers to win a limited-edition CPFM x McD's product:
- Week 1: a CPFM x McDonald's Tee-Shirt
- Week 2: a CPFM x McDonald's Hoodie
- Week 3: a Grimace figurine
- Week 4: a CPFM x McDonald's acrylic sign
Available only in the United States, the experience was offered until October 30.
A 28-Piece Capsule Collection by Cactus Plant Flea Market x McDonald's
To accompany this exclusive Happy Meal, the two collaborators unveiled a capsule collection featuring twenty-eight limited-edition pieces including crewnecks, hoodies and joggers. These brilliantly capture the McDonald's universe and offer an authentic visual identity, true to CPFM's style.

And while Cynthia Lu's label crafts unique garments with dye treatments and iconic lettering, some pieces are hand-embroidered and a few feature the Cactus Buddy character, CPFM's mascot. Other pieces are caricature representations of Big Macs, Hamburgers and classic characters such as Grimace and Ronald McDonald.
