For the Spring-Summer 2022 collection, the late Virgil Abloh envisioned a collaboration between Louis Vuitton and Nike to give birth to 47 exclusive editions of "Air Force 1" sneakers. Embodying the synthesis between classic codes of the original shoe, noble materials, and signature emblems of the French house, this sublime partnership illustrates once again Abloh's remarkable work, tragically passed away last November.
Considering the iconic shoe of the Swoosh brand as a cultural symbol in its own right, the artistic director of Louis Vuitton leaves an immeasurable void and a tremendous acknowledgment of the combination of luxury and streetwear.
While the Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1 “Collection” is at the heart of sneaker culture and is displayed at the Green Point Terminal Warehouse in New York, nine pairs are confirmed for the general public and will be available in July.
Thus, discover in detail these few silhouettes shaped at the Louis Vuitton workshop in Fiesso d’Artico, Italy.
