After the Adistar Jellyfish and the Flat Earther, Pharrell Williams continues to explore the archives of the three-stripe brand. Under the VIRGINIA banner, the American creative is reviving a forgotten silhouette from 1997: the Equipment Water Moc. Originally designed for water activities, this sneaker makes its return in a reimagined version called Watermoc.
While the shoe retains the technical DNA of the model with its slip-on construction and breathable mesh upper, this new interpretation adopts a modernized look. Pharrell has evolved the silhouette with a bold strap and an elastic tightening system, while the sole directly references the Carnuba Adventure Moc from the 2000s. Five colorways are already on the agenda: red, yellow, blue, green, and black.

To accompany this presentation, adidas and VIRGINIA took over the Boa Vista Beach Club in Marseille for a day. Between beach volleyball, musical performances, and a set by Kaytranada, the two partners brought the Watermoc universe to life in a setting true to its DNA. The adidas Virginia Watermoc is expected to drop this fall.
