Fragment and Union are not done with Jordan. While the collaboration between Chris Gibbs, his creative teams, and Nike now spans a vast catalog, it is still the Air Jordan 1 High that steals the show. While two silhouettes are still in preparation, one is already ready to make its entrance into the sneaker world. For its release, the three partners have chosen an ultra-limited distribution: according to @mrunloved, the pair will only be offered in five stores worldwide.
Recently spotted on the feet of Hiroshi Fujiwara, the model takes a more understated approach than previous collaborations, abandoning the iconic Union colorblocking. The construction, however, remains true to the DNA of the Los Angeles shop with the addition of visible stitching, deconstructed details while the Fragment branding refines the design.
Available only at Starcow in Europe, the shop will be the sole access point for Parisian and European collectors. Undefeated will take over in New York, while in Asia and Latin America, Fragment, Kasina, and Headquarter will respectively handle distribution in Tokyo, Seoul, and Mexico City. For now, no global release or launch via the SNKRS app has been confirmed.
