Hidden NY is on a roll. Seven years after its debut as an anonymous Instagram moodboard, the New York label is launching its first collaboration with BAPE, a partnership that few expected in this form. On one side, Hidden NY, a New York project born on Instagram in 2018. On the other, BAPE, the Japanese brand founded by Nigo in Tokyo in 1993. The result is a reinterpretation of BAPE's essence, with Hidden NY's signature green making subtle appearances.
The capsule centers around the BAPE STA #1, crafted in smooth white leather and beige suede. On both pairs, Hidden NY's green accent appears on the tongue and heel tab, while an embossed "h" logo sits on the side. The silhouette stays true to its original design, featuring the overlapping stars that made it famous in the early 2000s.
Beyond the sneaker, the capsule expands into several apparel pieces: a full-zip hoodie and joggers in a gray camouflage dotted with green stars, a dark green crewneck with the BAPE logo, and graphic t-shirts that play off a visual saying "A Bathing Ape Wants You to Go HIDDEN!" A trucker cap with embroidery and a green ashtray in the shape of an ape head complete the collection.
Hidden NY continues to broaden its horizons. After Clarks, Salomon, and several notable drops with Asics, the label is now tackling a name that needs no introduction. The capsule will be available on May 2, 2026 via Hidden NY and BAPE's official channels. The retail price has yet to be announced.
