After his Air Jordan 1 High and his take on the Air Jordan 2, the artist signs a third collaboration with Jumpman.
The energy of J Balvin and the authenticity of Jordan will brighten the 2023 lineup. And it is through the sneaker that revolutionized the NBA courts that the chemistry between these two partners will continue. A wise choice since it marks the thirty-fifth anniversary of the Air Jordan 3.
What to expect?
According to @zsneakerheadz and @brandon1an, the duo will be back very soon. And it will be the Air Jordan 3's turn to pass through J Balvin's imaginative hands. While no visuals have surfaced yet, a color code has been revealed. Titled multi-color, it leaves room for imagination regarding the tones used, but also raises questions about the new details and innovative features that the artist from Medellin could add.
In the past, J Balvin has brilliantly showcased his eccentricity, whether on the Air Jordan 1 High or the Air Jordan 2. For his first collaboration in 2020, the artist paid a true tribute to Colombia by using an electric mix of colors, textures and patterns to reinvent the timeless Air Jordan 1 High. Unveiled during a Super Bowl halftime show, the J Balvin x Air Jordan 1 High OG "Multi-Color" brilliantly left its mark on sneaker culture and led to a second pair.

Motivating people to keep fighting for their dreams despite adversity. That is the message the artist delivered through his second collaboration with Jumpman. "It is brutal to see how dreams take more paths and different ways to connect with the planet", he states on his Instagram account. "I only thought about what we, as human beings, go through day by day, finding the light to have a better quality of life, and it all starts from a healthy mind". A work of art in its own right, the J Balvin x Air Jordan 2 Retro '86 "Celestine Blue" is elevated by a green LED on the Wings to remind us that while there are sometimes dark paths, the light is always present.
While awaiting further information about the J Balvin x Air Jordan 3, know that the pair is scheduled for September 2, 2023 and should release on SNKRS. Additionally, a capsule collection could accompany the sneaker drop.
UPDATE MAY 8, 2023: The first visuals of the J Balvin x Air Jordan 3 "Multi-Color" are here! With a cream base and a gradient going from purple to yellow reminiscent of a sunset, J Balvin once again delivers a radiant pair. The co-branding on the heel tab marks this new collaboration, which should be available in family sizing.
