Kaws is back alongside Jordan. The American artist is gearing up for a new collaboration with the sportswear brand around the Air Jordan 4. After making a mark on the silhouette with two highly sought-after versions, Kaws is expected to offer a third interpretation of Michael Jordan's fourth signature shoe this time. This new project comes nearly ten years after the first meeting between the two partners.
In 2017, the artist incorporated several elements of his work into the Air Jordan 4, including the hands of his famous Companion and his signature “XX”. Initially offered in a grey version, the sneaker was later released in a second colorway that was completely black a few months later. This time, Kaws and Jordan are expected to go for a brand new colorway, rather than reissuing one of the two original versions. While there are currently no visuals to give a first glimpse of the sneaker, it is scheduled for summer 2027.
