As every week, the sneaker world was filled with numerous announcements. Between new designs and reinterpretations, there was plenty of action. Details!
The Nike Air Max 95 slides into Nike SB
The Nike Air Max 95 is going off the beaten path. On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the silhouette, Nike SB gives Sergio Lozano's design a brand new identity, reinterpreting it for the skatepark in the same vein as the Air Jordan 4 "Pine Green". The first images suggest that Nike SB is ready to integrate modifications in line with the discipline, improving the pair's durability and performance. On the colorway side, the model opts for tones that echo the designs of the era, while a Big Bubble unit and reinforced padding complete the package.
Timberland goes runway mode with Jacquemus
Workwear has never been so chic. After reworking the Nike Humara and the Air Max 1 on the Swoosh side, Simon Porte Jacquemus is now tackling a streetwear monument: Timberland. On his Instagram, the designer posted a box featuring Jacquemus x Timberland co-branding. With his taste for clean lines and premium materials, the French house's designer could well reinvent the 6-Inch Boot in a minimalist and couture register. Premium leather? Sand colorway? Reimagined silhouette? Anything is possible. While no visuals or models have been revealed yet, the collaboration could well contain one of the most anticipated boots of 2025.
Nina Chanel enters the Pollex Club
Salehe Bembury's latest project has not finished surprising us. Dubbed "Art Friends Thumbs Up Good Job," it showcases a series of Pollex Clogs co-created with renowned artists and creatives, invited to reinvent Crocs' iconic silhouette. After Futura and Jonas Wood, it is now Nina Chanel Abney's turn to join the program. Known for her artistic visuals, the New York-based contemporary artist brings her creative vision to the mule. Checkerboard base. Pink touches. NCA initials. No doubt, the pair gets a fresh approach. And while no additional information has been added yet, it could well drop in limited edition on beaspunge.com. In short, a collaboration not to be missed.
The return of Nike's archives... all the way to caps
The flames are back. After reissuing some cult models, Nike dives once again into its past to bring one of its caps back into the spotlight. First released in 2001, the iconic flame-embroidered cap makes its grand return this year! A true nostalgic treat for an entire generation, this flamboyant piece reprises the codes that made an impression at the beginning of the millennium: imposing embroidery, recognizable flame motif, and its traditional Swoosh. The cap returns, however, with a few adjustments including a new deep structured cut for better hold, and a curved visor that matches current standards. The message is clear: Nike leaves nothing to chance when mining its archives. And if retro pairs already have their place, iconic accessories are also regaining legitimacy.
