Breaking away from the beaten path since its launch, Nike SB's skateboarding division hands its popular Nike SB Dunk to numerous partners in 2023 for particularly appealing new collaborations.
It holds a central place at the heart of sneaker culture. Nike's skateboarding division established itself in 2002 as a branch that shaped the future of skateboarding. And to carry on this legacy, new collaborations are on the horizon.

The streetwear label is planning a new colorful encounter with Nike SB. Supreme pays tribute to New York artist Rammellzee, who passed away in 2010. Renowned for his pure eccentricity, the artist perfectly embodied the hip-hop culture of the '80s and left a lasting mark on the art world. Tremaine Emory, creative director of Supreme, honors his art with two versions straight out of the 2000s. The pairs feature illustrations drawn from the New York artist's work that are sure to turn heads.

This time, it's his board company's turn to join the division's collaborators to deliver a unique pair packed with details tied to the brand. A second April Skateboards x Nike SB has also been revealed, though it will be a Friends & Family exclusive.

More Collaborations to Be Confirmed
While the SB division has partnered with numerous collaborators set to deliver promising silhouettes, other partners could also join the lineup.

In 2023, the Swoosh had many surprises in store, starting with the return of a duo as promising as it is unexpected: Nike SB x Air Jordan. Nike SB joined forces with the Air Jordan branch to deliver a unique Air Jordan 4, steeped in a cultural heritage rooted in both skateboarding and basketball.
Released last March, the pair generated significant excitement among sneaker enthusiasts, thanks to its design and "Pine Green" colorway. A momentum that could continue, as a second Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 with striking blue accents could potentially surface in November 2023.

In October 2022, rumors suggested that a collaboration between Eminem, Carhartt and Nike SB could materialize in 2023. Paul Rosenberg, manager and co-founder of the Shady Records label, quickly denied the rumor with a simple "Not a thing."
However, the two remaining collaborators, Carhartt and Nike, could still team up. An opportunity to potentially revisit this duo that already joined forces back in 2004. An official confirmation is eagerly awaited, especially since a capsule collection could accompany the pair.

Your three favorite heroines could be teaming up with Nike SB for the first time! That's the claim made by @dadeasskickz on social media. The American insider suggested a collaboration could take shape in 2023.
For now, no official announcement has been made, whether from Cartoon Network, Craig McCracken (the show's creator), or Nike. What seems certain is that this collaboration should be worth the wait, given the iconic status of the most emblematic cartoon of the '90s.
UPDATE - SEPTEMBER 27, 2023:
Since last May, numerous Nike SB collaboration pairs have hit the release calendar. However, some pairs were only rumors at the time of writing, including:

After plenty of speculation, the iconic trio from the 2000s has officially teamed up with Nike SB! Three pairs pay tribute to the superheroes. True to the American animated series created by Craig McCracken, each lowtop is identified by its own signature color: pink for "Blossom," blue for "Bubbles" and green for "Buttercup." Each upper features a captivating snakeskin-textured build complemented by a colored swoosh. Finally, the heroines' eyes brilliantly adorn the heel tab, adding the finishing touch to this highly anticipated collaboration.

With a mission to highlight the creative crossover of martial arts culture, A&P delivers its own interpretation of the Nike SB. For this occasion, Jiu-Jitsu meets skateboarding through a twill canvas upper inspired by Japanese Miyuki pearls. A refined tear-away finish further elevates the pair.
