The summer season is settling in and, with it, a batch of new releases. Iconic reissues, fresh collaborations, and summer-ready silhouettes. Nike, Jordan, and New Balance are all set to make their mark during this first half of summer. One thing is certain: the shelves won't stay empty for long.
New Balance 2002R Protection Pack
Five years after shaking up sneaker culture, the Boston-based firm is ready to revive its deconstructed aesthetic with the return of the original New Balance Protection Pack. Initially designed by Yue Wu, this trio launched in 2021 had propelled the 2002R as one of the most sought-after pairs of the year. Conceived as a tribute to the Boston brand's archives, the Protection Pack has since seen multiple iterations and even made its way onto the New Balance 1906R. This month, New Balance delivers a return to the roots that reaffirms one thing: few pairs have embodied the balance between heritage and innovation as well as this one. Be quick, as the pack will make its return on June 4 at a price of $170 per pair.

Veneda Carter x Nike Air Muse White Hyper Pink

Impossible to ignore. In just a few years, Veneda Carter has established herself as one of the most respected figures in contemporary style. After her highly acclaimed reinterpretations of the Timberland 6 Inch Boot, Veneda Carter is now taking a decisive step into the world of footwear, specifically with the Swoosh. First step: the Nike Air Max Muse. With its sculpted silhouette, unique volumes, and metallic finishes, the Nike Air Max Muse stood out as a bold addition to the women's lineup from day one. While the pair looks like no other, it speaks to those who don't want to choose between design and movement. To those who like to blur the lines between fashion and performance. It's in this context that the very first collaboration between Veneda Carter and Nike comes to life. With the sportswear giant, the artist delivers an obvious co-creation. While the Air Max Muse is still on experimental ground, the pair speaks the same language as Carter: one of unapologetic femininity. Between minimalism and luxurious details, the pair is set to drop on June 23 at a retail price of $160. Ladies, this one's for you.

No doubt about it, the silhouette's DNA remains intact. Long sidelined in favor of more modern models, the pair is resuming its run with a fresh start.
