Travis Scott x Nike: The King's Return?
The mayor of Houston has some serious heat lined up for 2024, once again in collaboration with Nike and Jordan Brand. Among the expected models, we find the Travis Scott x Nike Shark-A-Don that La Flame will gift to a fan during a concert in Chicago! And in this same drive to offer new signature models, a stunning Travis Scott x Jordan Jumpman Jack, teased during the Utopia rollout, is planned for the coming months.
Not a fan of new silhouettes? Travis has you covered too. Get ready for two Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG colorways: an "Olive" in green tones that revisits the structure of the first edition released in 2019, and a "Canary Yellow" that picks up the yellow and blue color scheme of Elkins High School in Houston, where young Jacques went to school. Despite the latter being a Womens edition, both promise to be instant hits among sneakerheads worldwide.

To think that just four years ago, NB was still a challenger barely standing out from its competitors, with sole comfort being its main selling point... Fast forward to 2024, and those days are long gone. Their strength? Relevant collaborations with compelling storytelling and products of impeccable quality. This year, Action Bronson is riding high! After his duo of New Balance 990v6, the New York creative is teasing a trio of New Balance 1906R: a Rosewater in pink and white tones that will likely be the first to release, a Medusa Azul in navy blue, and a Scorpius in yellow and orange tones that, according to Mr. Balaklava himself, will be a very limited edition.
The New Balance 1906R isn't done flooding your Instagram feeds, as two editions with the talented designer who needs no introduction, Salehe Bembury, are expected for early 2024! Simply named "Heat Be Hot," the pack contains an NB 1906R in red, purple, and blue dubbed "Magma" and an NB 1906R with a red-to-yellow gradient reminiscent of the Nike Air Max Plus Tn "Sunset" vibe! Stay tuned...

The Parisian collective and creative studio 99GINGER is preparing a brand new iteration of the New Balance 1906R, though it unfortunately won't be the one we already spotted with the green patent leather upper featuring a crocodile effect (Friends & Family edition). Named "Bridges The Gap," it will release very soon in the coming weeks.
Jordan Brand: Between OG Models and Iconic Collaborations
The iconic Air Jordan 4 celebrates its 35th anniversary! In celebration, the Jumpman brand has lined up 3 special editions including 2 O.G. colorways straight from 1989: the Air Jordan 4 Bred Reimagined, which swaps its usual nubuck for premium leather for the first time, and the Air Jordan 4 Military Blue, returning after a 12-year wait in a shape identical to the original model designed by Tinker Hatfield. The third pair will be the Air Jordan 4 Metallic Gold, a Womens edition that takes the structure of the fabulous "Air Jordan 4 Metallic Pack" from 2020 and replaces the white leather and colored panel combination with a beige leather upper featuring gold details. Mark your calendars!
While Jordan Brand's creative teams have prepared several other retro models such as the Air Jordan 1 High OG Black Toe Reimagined or the Air Jordan 1 High '85 White Metallic Burgundy, several special collaborations will brighten up our year!
We start with the Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 Low SP designed by Marcus Jordan, the GOAT's son himself. To create this new iteration, he drew from his father's archives and took inspiration from the look of 80s trading cards featuring his dad. A carefully crafted edition sporting a combination of satin and premium leather. The lowtop actually reverses the structure of the sublime Black Toe. Let's hope there's no controversy this time around...
Following up on the Medellin Sunset edition from 2023, the prince of reggaeton is preparing a Dark version of this hit silhouette. On the menu? Same recipe as always: warm color gradient, premium leather, and elephant print! Will you give in to the dark side?
While these are only rumors, it's possible that James Whitner and his label A Ma Maniere are preparing two new iterations on the flagship models that made the collaboration's success: the Air Jordan 3 and the Air Jordan 4! Based on early mock-ups, they would feature the collaboration's signature color scheme: burgundy, beige, and grey. Let's hope the recent controversies surrounding Mr. Whitner won't tarnish the release of these two gems, fingers crossed!
Adidas and Its Revamped Classics
We all know, 2023 was the year of the Adidas Samba, the year of the Adidas Campus 00's, and the year of the Adidas Gazelle... In short, Adidas swept everything. And riding this momentum, the three stripes brand kicks off 2024 with stunning collaborations on these classic models. Starting with the very understated JJJJound x adidas Samba, true to the Montreal creative studio's minimalist artistic direction. Later on, we'll get a new collaboration between Puerto Rico's star, Bad Bunny, and Adidas on a Bad Bunny x Adidas Brown Chalk in brown and pink tones that will appeal to Benito's fans.
Cowabunga! Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fans will be pleased to learn that a collaboration between the four masked heroes and the German brand is in the works. For the occasion, the Superstar has been chosen to embody the "shell" spirit of our favorite mutants. With its special packaging paying tribute to the original comic book, it will be a must-have for collectible enthusiasts of all kinds!
