New Balance's Made in USA line is already gearing up for fall. Still under the direction of Teddy Santis, founder of Aimé Leon Dore, the Made in USA line continues to expand its catalog with a new selection of sneakers. For this fall-winter 2026 season, New Balance's creative teams have chosen to focus on four silhouettes: the 990v4, the 992, the 993, and the 1300. Four iconic silhouettes from the Boston-based brand that are set to carry through the coming months with no less than nine new designs.
As usual, the New Balance Made in USA branch primarily relies on colors and materials to refresh its models. Expect suede, mesh, nubuck, and premium leather. The collection showcases a variety of textures while the color palettes evolve with the seasons.
The 990v4 and the 993 Take Center Stage
To kick off this new collection, New Balance has decided to focus on two familiar faces from its Made in USA lineup. On one side, the 990v4. Launched in 2016, this silhouette continues a story that began over thirty years ago with the release of the first 990. To open this collection, the 990v4 features a design that emphasizes materials. This approach allows New Balance to start the season with a slightly different interpretation than what is usually offered around its fourth generation.

Introduced in 2008 as a continuation of the 992, this silhouette continues to benefit from the work of Teddy Santis within the Made in USA range. For this first silhouette, the founder of Aimé Leon Dore focuses on a seasonal construction accompanied by significant work on textures.

The New Balance classics are far from done. Returning to the Made in USA lineup, the 1300 is making a comeback with a new version. First introduced in 1985, this silhouette represents one of the most significant chapters in New Balance's running history. Over forty years after its debut, the 1300 continues to uphold this heritage. Suede. Mesh. Retro construction. No doubt about it, New Balance doesn't seem to want to mess with a recipe that stands the test of time.

See on the calendarAfter kicking off the season with an initial interpretation, the New Balance 990v4 is already ready to switch things up with more autumnal constructions. Two new versions are on the way: one in burgundy, the other in dark blue. Unlike the first 990v4 of the season, Teddy Santis is gradually evolving the silhouette in line with the collection while keeping the elements that have defined the shoe since its introduction. This is a chance to see more leather on both silhouettes.

First appearing in 2006, this shoe celebrates its twentieth anniversary this year and continues to be one of the most popular runners from the Boston brand. For this season, New Balance seems eager to take advantage of this milestone with two new designs rolling out over the coming months, ready to showcase the signature lines of a model that has changed very little since its introduction.

As the season progresses, New Balance continues to evolve its selection. After participating in the launch of the collection, the 993 is back with a second design. This time, Teddy Santis moves away from the textured suede of the first version to focus on nubuck.
