After revealing three Air Max Plus inspired by the Devil Fruits, Nike is finally landing in Paris with One Piece.
Finally, Paris is getting its drop. While the capital wasn't among the first cities announced to host pop-ups for the One Piece x Nike Air Max Plus collaboration, several clues have started to pop up in recent days. The biggest? A massive Nike ponéglyphe installed in La Villette.
In One Piece, these stone blocks contain essential information to understand the world's history. In Paris, no need for Nico Robin to decipher it; Nike is gearing up for the arrival of its collaboration with One Piece in the capital.
The Ope Ope No Mi is Coming to Paris
It's finally the Ope Ope no Mi that will make a stop in the capital. For the occasion, the sportswear brand is preparing an activation around the Air Max Plus inspired by Trafalgar Law's Devil Fruit. Just a reminder, this sneaker is the third version imagined around the collaboration. After the Gomu Gomu no Mi of Luffy and the Mera Mera no Mi associated with Ace and then Sabo, the Swoosh is tackling Law's fruit with a TN dominated by various shades of red and green.

However, the Paris release won't work like a typical drop where you just show up at a store on the morning of the release. Before you can buy the sneaker, you'll first need to successfully reserve it on SNKRS. In the coming days, Nike is preparing a SNKRS PASS dedicated to the Nike Air Max Plus Ope Ope no Mi. The concept is simple: unlike a regular release on the app, the pass allows you to reserve your size in advance before coming to buy and pick up the sneaker at a location specified by Nike. However, be careful, the SNKRS Pass works with location. At the time of its opening, you must be in Paris or close enough to the relevant area to see the launch and attempt to reserve a sneaker. Once the Pass is available, you'll need to choose your size and submit your request.

On September 19, selected individuals will be able to visit Dr B’s Research Lab, the Paris pop-up imagined by Nike around the collaboration. While the address is still to be confirmed, the event is expected to take place in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris, with part of the One Piece x Nike textile collection also available. Buyers of the Air Max Plus Ope Ope no Mi should leave with a collector's card created specifically for the collaboration.
And what about the other One Piece x Nike Air Max Plus?
If Paris is ready to welcome the Ope Ope no Mi, it's just one of three Air Max Plus designed for this first collaboration between Nike and One Piece. The Mera Mera no Mi, inspired by the Devil Fruit used by Portgas D. Ace and later Sabo, has already started to make its appearance through the initial activations of the collaboration.
That leaves the Gomu Gomu no Mi, directly associated with Monkey D. Luffy. Unlike the Paris launch of the Ope Ope, this one is set to enjoy a wider release starting September 25 on SNKRS. A portion of the apparel collection will also be available.
So, there are two key dates to remember: the SNKRS Pass to watch for in the coming days to try and cop the Ope Ope no Mi in Paris, and then September 25 for the continuation of the launch on SNKRS. This gives a second chance to those who couldn't get their hands on the TN of Trafalgar Law a few days earlier.
