Patta steps onto the field. After reimagining the Air Max line from Nike multiple times, the Amsterdam-based label is now taking on Nike Football. On the agenda are two silhouettes: a Mercurial Vapor 16 Elite FG and a Mercurial Superfly 10 Elite FG. At first glance, both designs draw from the codes established in 2021 on the Air Max 1 “Waves”. This is a chance to see the signature wavy pattern of both partners. Each upper mixes several materials, complemented by Patta branding. On the sole side, the iridescent studs and co-branded Zoom Air units refine the designs.

While Patta has long nurtured a strong connection with football, this is set to materialize through its partnership with Nike. Earlier this year, Guillaume Schmidt teased an initial foray with a Nike Cryoshot Mercurial R9 during the UEFA Champions League final in Munich. With just a few months until the 2026 World Cup, it seems Patta and Nike are taking the collaboration into uncharted territory. The drop is expected in summer 2026, with no date or price available at the moment.
