Salomon and Art de l'Automobile, the Parisian label founded by Arthur Kar, are back. For their third partnership, the two brands are taking the dialogue between performance and design even further, unveiling a collaboration centered around two iconic silhouettes: the S/Lab Phantasm 3 and the ACS Pro. Inspired by aerodynamic mapping, a method used to visualize airflow around an object, the collection translates these movements into colors, whether it's a sports car or a running shoe. On the models, the gradients reveal this flow: warm tones (yellow, red) indicate areas of resistance, while cool tones (blue) represent areas of better air penetration.
"For me, shoes, like cars, are made to get people moving. With the Phantasm 3, Salomon draws direct inspiration from sports cars, in terms of style, technology, and pure performance-oriented design."

On the performance side, the S/Lab Phantasm 3 features a carbon plate and an external "shroud" layer designed to improve aerodynamics by 30% compared to previous versions. The ACS Pro, a trail silhouette born in 2005 and reimagined, takes a more creative approach with gradients that evoke the aesthetics of street racing. The finishing touch? The number 42 appears on both models, referencing the 42 kilometers of the Paris Marathon.
The collection will be available starting April 8, 2026 on the Art de l'Automobile website, then from April 11 in Salomon stores on the Champs-Élysées and in the Marais in Paris. A global release will follow on April 14 via the Salomon website and select retailers. Be quick, though!
