The Los Angeles shop will once again partner with the sportswear brand to expand its range with three new silhouettes.
As the year has just begun, it seems that Chris Gibbs and Jordan are back for two Air Jordan 1 KOs, but also for a third unexpected silhouette. Indeed, @MrUnloved1s confirmed on Twitter that an Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG is also in preparation by the shop from Los Angeles.
However, no mock-up or first visuals have leaked so far, so it is impossible to know what this silhouette signed Union x Jordan looks like. Nevertheless, it is already generating interest within sneaker culture, as the Twitter account confirmed that the pair would not resemble the colorway of the Union x Air Jordan 1 Retro High “Black Toe” or the “Blue Toe” composition, both released in 2018.

Moreover, while Union has significantly strengthened the release schedule of Jordan, the shop has also established itself over the years as one of its most important collaborators. Indeed, the avant-garde vision of Chris Gibbs and his team has led to the creation of stunning silhouettes that have permeated the sneaker world, particularly on the models of the Air Jordan 1 High, the Air Jordan 2, and the Air Jordan 4. Thus, we can only wonder about the appearance of this new pair, announced during the year 2023.

That’s not all, the Los Angeles shop also puts its mark on the Air Jordan 1 KO, one of the variants of the Air Jordan 1 High. Created in 1986, it is considered a more classic reinterpretation of the successful model by Peter Moore.
In 2010, the so-called “Knock Off” was reissued, notably with the famous Chicago color blocking of Jordan. And to bring back its Air Jordan 1 KO, the Swoosh brand lends its silhouette to the Los Angeles shop, which surprises sneaker culture once again with two low-top uppers instead of high-tops.
While the colorway “Sail” has not been officially revealed yet, the “Neutral Grey” composition features a stunning new white canvas upper. And to contrast this immaculate upper with elegant stitching, Chris Gibbs' shop innovates and offers interchangeable swooshes that allow switching from a grey swoosh to a blue swoosh. Furthermore, both pairs display the yellow UN/LA tag, specific to the brand.
While waiting for new information on the Union x Air Jordan 1 Retro High, the two Air Jordan 1 KOs will be released on January 27, 2023, at a price of €150 on SNKRS.
UPDATE FROM MARCH 29, 2023: According to the account @MrUnloved1s (Twitter), the drop of the Union x Air Jordan 1 Retro High is expected to take place in August 2023. Perfect timing before the September back-to-school season!
