Remember last year when Jacquemus and Nike announced their collaboration! They revealed to the world the result of combining the chic minimalism of the French fashion house with the sportswear style of the iconic American brand. It had a huge impact in the streetwear world, leading to a resounding success.

A year after the drop of the clothing and the two pairs of Jacquemus x Nike Air Humara "Beige" and "Brown", and just a few months after the latest addition to the lineup in a flashy "Pink" colorway, French designer Simon Porte Jacquemus teases what appears to be an Air Force 1! Indeed, first visuals shook the internet earlier this year, revealing a "JF1" deubre on an immaculate pair. So it is indeed a Jacquemus x Nike pair with the look of the lowtop designed by Bruce Kilgore that will make its appearance during summer 2023. Discover the first visuals of this reinvented classic pair!

The woven technique has certainly earned its place in the sneaker world! First appearing on the Nike Air Footscape Woven in the 2000s, weaving has been showing up more and more on shoe models this year, particularly during the summer season. A few months ago, sneakerheads were surprised to discover this element on the upper of the sacai x Nike Woven Waffle "White Grey", followed by a second surprise when the Californian label Union LA and Jordan Brand revealed visuals of an original Air Jordan 1 High, different from what we are used to seeing.
As expected, opinions diverge on the appearance of these rather bold new sneakers. Simon Porte Jacquemus understood this well: "Woven" will be a trend this year, and he chose to apply it to an unprecedented J Force 1.

A white leather upper, mini swooshes and silver metal deubres, co-brandings, and weaving around the midsole: this is the recipe for his version of the AF1! To complete this special edition and distinguish it from the original model, the outsole featuring both brands' logos adopts a waffle-like appearance reminiscent of the sole on the sacai x Nike LD Waffle. In addition to the white colorway, based on content posted by Nike and Jacquemus on Instagram, a Jacquemus x Nike J Force 1 Low "Black Woven" could drop at the same time. Stay tuned!
The Jacquemus x Nike J Force 1 Low "White Woven", reflecting the light and subtle inspirations of the French designer, is expected to appear on SNKRS in June 2023 at a price of around 170 euros.
