We announced it a few months ago, Union and Jordan are preparing a new Air Jordan 1 High.
When you hear Union x Air Jordan, you certainly expect a pair that will go down in history! It must be said that their duo set the bar high with the Air Jordan 1 Retro High "Black Toe" and "Blue Toe" released in 2018, as well as the splendid Union x Air Jordan 4 "Off Noir" and "Guava Ice" that appeared two years later.

In 2023, the colorful overlay combinations give way to more neutral colorways as demonstrated by the pair of Air Jordan 1 KO "Sail" and "Neutral Grey". It is therefore with more understated and natural inspirations that Chris Gibbs, the founder of the Union label, and Jordan have crafted a rather original Air Jordan 1 that is already generating a lot of buzz.

Opinions are mixed regarding the next Union x Jordan shoe! Indeed, some sneakerheads immediately embraced the concept, while others were more hesitant and less convinced by this atypical version of the AJ1. If this particular weave looks familiar, it is because the shoe is a combination of the Jordan 1 and the Nike Air Footscape Woven. Unlike previous collaborations that only featured a reworked OG model, this summer it is indeed a completely new look for the iconic pair created for Michael Jordan that should drop!

The distinctive Union LA elements will be present, with turquoise stitching and a UN/LA tag that will contrast with the white grained leather base. On the swoosh side, a grey tone prevails, matching the large Wings logo on the quarter panel that needs no introduction. Obviously, the highlight is the beige woven fabric wrapping around the upper, giving it a summery and retro feel. On the heel tab you can spot a relatively discreet turquoise "BBS" embroidery, standing for "Bephies Beauty Supply", the brand of Chris Gibbs' wife who is also co-creator of Union LA. Like many previous releases, a special box will accompany the shoes, along with an extra set of laces.
The Union x Air Jordan 1 High OG "Woven" is expected to release in August at 200 euros on SNKRS and at other retailers.
