It seems business is picking back up for adidas and Yeezy! For over six months, the three-stripe brand had completely halted the sale of sneakers from its partnership with Kanye West, due to remarks made by the rapper. Throughout May 31, 2023, sales resumed in the United States, South America and Canada, followed by Europe on June 1 with restocks and new releases. However, the controversy was so significant that retailers decided to pull the pairs from their shelves, making it impossible to purchase adidas Yeezy sneakers in store.
Nevertheless, for the past few days certain rumors have been circulating about a possible restock of around twenty pairs in-store at Foot Locker locations in the United States, as well as at other retailers. If the deal goes through, sneakerheads will have a new chance to cop these highly sought-after pairs whose prices have doubled recently.
adidas YZY footwear: restocks and releases
Going forward, the footwear line will be called adidas YZY Footwear, giving a fresh start to the range which is expanding without Ye. In fact, some photos show that the name "YZY" is replacing "YEEZY" originally printed on the boxes accompanying the sneakers. If the rumors are confirmed, there should once again be YZY Boost 350V2, 700, Foam Runners, and slides perfect for the summer season. Here is the list of pairs announced by Yeezy Mafia:
Similar to the June 1 event, a portion of the sales proceeds would be donated to organizations such as the Anti-Defamation League or the Philonise & Keeta Floyd Institute for Social Change.

UPDATE JULY 28, 2023: adidas has confirmed the restock and release of several Yeezy pairs starting August 2, 2023 on its adidas CONFIRMED app in Europe. The three-stripe brand specifies that "The catalog and sale dates may vary by region. In some countries, selected pairs are available from online retailers." Here's a preview of what could be available next Tuesday:
UPDATE AUGUST 2, 2023: The Yeezy restock will take place from August 2 to August 8, 2023. While raffles will be held on the adidas CONFIRMED app, many retailers will be able to start selling them from August 3, 2023.
