Ordering a sneaker like you order a burger: this idea is no longer abstract. Foot Locker takes a new step in on-demand commerce by joining Uber Eats. Now, Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker, and Champs Sports are accessible in the Retail section of the app.
The concept is based directly on the inventory of physical stores: depending on the user's location, Uber displays the available models in nearby shops, ranging from sneakers to clothing and accessories. The ordering process follows the usual platform codes: selection, payment, and delivery straight to your door.
Available now in over 1,000 stores in the United States, the service is currently limited to the American market. But as Foot Locker ramps up on-demand delivery and Uber continues to expand its offerings, the question of a potential arrival in France is already on the table.
