Who said August and sneaker releases don't go hand in hand? While for many, the eighth month of the year means sun, beach, and vacation, brands continue to drop new pairs. Whether it's Nike, New Balance, or Asics, the sneaker world is gearing up for a real feast. The hardest part will be choosing...
There Skateboards x Nike SB Dunk Low "Gorge Green"
This month, the Swoosh's skateboarding division has lined up a real feast by calling on numerous figures from the skate world. Among them: There Skateboards, a committed collective that has been giving a voice to underrepresented skaters worldwide since 2017. Co-founded by Jeffrey Cheung, the collective aims to fight prejudice within the global skateboarding community by creating unique works of art.
Logo on the tongue and heel. Artistic patterns. Two-tone laces and engraved lace deubrés. There's no doubt, Jeffrey Cheung's signature style is immediately displayed on the Nike SB Dunk Low, which serves as the collective's next canvas of expression. Naturally, the pair features the iconic details that make Nike SB so distinctive.
The pair will be available from August 2nd at a price of €130 on Nike SNKRS.

Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 990v6 Made in USA "Prom Blue"
Joe Freshgoods isn't done with the Bostonians. While his reinterpretation of the New Balance 1000 brilliantly brought the model back from the brand's archives, he continues to explore New Balance's vast range. This time, the Chicago-based designer takes on the New Balance 990v6, paying tribute to his roots.
Monochrome for the New Balance 990v6? Hard to say no after his remarkable work on the Performance Art: Made To Wear Well pack from 2022. JFG offers two designs: one in red (exclusive to the French capital), while the other version opts for an elegant pastel blue. As for materials, the designer keeps suede and mesh to elevate each traditional element of the 990v6.
The global release of the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 990v6 Made in USA "Prom Blue" is set for August 9th at a price of €270 on New Balance.

Metallic leather. Purple mesh. There's no doubt, champagnepapi's label has struck again. However, the pair drops its chrome details unlike the Nocta x Nike Hot Step 2 "Total Orange". Third time's the charm. This month, Cecilie Bahnsen is back to sign her third collaboration with the Japanese brand: Asics. After bringing her floral aesthetic to the GT-2160, it's now the 360 VIII's turn to receive a Haute-Couture finish.
5D-printed overlays. Multiple straps. Floral patterns. Just like the previous collaborations, the model abandons its dad shoe look for a finish reminiscent of the Mary Jane ballet flat. And while the Asics Gel-Quantum 360 VIII goes women's-exclusive for the first time, the Danish designer reveals two pairs, one with yellow accents while the other offers a subtle blue hue.

Nike Air Max SNDR
Bringing a model back from the archives and giving it new life. If there's one brand that loves reviving its ecosystem, it's the Swoosh. In August, the sportswear brand will continue to dive into the Air Max line to further reintroduce the Nike Air Max Sunder, which had disappeared for the past twenty-five years.
Neoprene upper. Nubuck overlay. Through zip. 3M reflective elements. There's no doubt, the cross-trainer reclaims its 1999 archetype. And while the materials remain the same, the design has been updated with two flashy colorways: fuchsia pink for one, neon yellow for the other. Naturally, Nike's designers retain the Air technology.
The Nike Air Max SNDR Highlighter Pink and Green will arrive on August 23rd. Each pair is priced at €180.
