In twenty-eight years, the Handball Spezial has never changed its image. Launched in 1979, the pair was designed for handball players to ensure maximum performance. Today, it stands as one of the most beloved icons from the German sportswear brand, alongside the adidas Samba and the adidas Campus 00s. This month, adidas is planning a particularly spring-ready colorway that's sure to please.

While the American brand celebrated its 50th anniversary last year, numerous collaborators took on the model to deliver their own interpretation. Kiko Kostadinov x Heaven by Marc Jacobs x Asics Gel-Lokros
This month, long-time collaborators Kiko Kostadinov and Asics are teaming up once again. After the success of the Gel Quantum Zientzia, attention quickly shifted to the avant-garde Novalis line, which will receive a few more colorways this year. In the meantime, the two partners have invited Heaven by Marc Jacobs to bring a new project to life: the GEL-LOKROS. And to say the least, the three partners have something special in store!
Three partners. Three pairs. The triple-collaborative silhouette fuses two designs into one, combining the classic Mary Jane with the tooling of Asics' GEL-KIRIL. The result is an avant-garde quilted upper with star motifs and wavy finishes. On the technology side, Flytefoam Propel cushioning is added for improved aerodynamics, while GEL technology is placed in the midsole. In short, a highly trendy pair that's already guaranteed to be a hit.

Nike Dunk Low "Plum"
In the early 2000s, Nike released a series of Japan-exclusive colorways. Among these releases was the Nike Dunk Low "Plum." Following the reissue of the Nike Dunk Low "Brazil" last month, the Swoosh is resurrecting one of its exclusive designs from the "Ugly Duckling" pack.
The design, here in purple and red, will showcase the innovative design details of the Nike Dunk Low, staying faithful to the first OG version originally released in 2001. On the branding side, the American giant's creative teams preserve the side Swoosh and the Nike inscription on the label. A fitting tribute not to be missed.

Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 Low SP "Away"
You've all been waiting for it, yet the latest collaboration between Trophy Room and Jordan took its time. While it was originally set to drop in February, it's finally in the third month of the year that we'll see the two partners reunite. On the menu: two versions, an Air Jordan 1 Low "Home", available exclusively at the Orlando store, followed by an "Away" version.
Once again, Marcus (Jordan) touches on an important part of Michael Jordan's historical legacy, drawing inspiration from 1980s trading cards. The result? A concept blending satin and leather that gives birth to an AJ1 Low inspired by the Chicago colorway.
While the pair was originally supposed to arrive on February 15th at Trophy Room and select retailers, its release has been pushed to March 21, 2024. It's priced at 150 euros.
