The back-to-school season is shaping up to be packed with sneaker releases. Between exciting collaborations and highly anticipated silhouettes, brands have lined up a particularly dense schedule. From the Kobe 3 to new takes on the F50, not to mention the latest creations from J Balvin and Jennie, one thing's for sure: there's something for everyone!
Sp5der x adidas Adizero F50
After kicking off their collaboration on the F50, SP5der and adidas are back this month with two new takes on the silhouette: red on one side, green on the other. Always designed as a bridge between football and running, the sneaker draws on the legacy of the Adizero F50 and pairs it with a Formotion sole originally developed for running. The SP5der branding completes the construction and confirms the radical approach of the label founded by Young Thug around adidas archives. Both sneakers will be available on September 1st on adidas Confirmed.

Nike Air Max Joga Bonito "R9"
Back to the classics. After reviving the Mercurial R9 through the Cryoshot, the sportswear brand continues its tribute to Ronaldo Nazário. This time, the Nike Air Max 95 serves as the base for an upper directly inspired by the cleat worn by the Brazilian during the 1998 FIFA World Cup. Silver leather. Blue panels. Yellow accents. No doubt, the silhouette retains the lines and visible Air units designed by Sergio Lozano. The release of the sneaker is set for September 10. Be quick!

Cecilie Bahnsen x Asics Gel-Kinetic FR
Cecilie Bahnsen is back with Asics for a new collaboration featuring the Gel-Kinetic FR. After showcasing her floral aesthetic on the Gel-Quantum 360 I, the Danish designer takes on a runner silhouette launched by Asics at the beginning of August. This time, there are two designs: one in gray and silver, the other in black and brown. Cecilie Bahnsen draws inspiration from the energy of flowers in motion and reworks the shape of the Asics Gel-Kinetic FR with her now-recognizable floral language. While the launch of both silhouettes took place on August 28 on Cecilie Bahnsen's site, a wider release is expected from Asics on September 12, priced at €200.

This month, Nigerian designer Mowalola Ogunlesi officially joins the exclusive circle of Jordan collaborators. For her first collaboration with the sportswear brand, the Central Saint Martins-trained creator focuses on a complex silhouette that’s rarely revisited despite its status: the Air Jordan 14. Designed by Tinker Hatfield and inspired by Michael Jordan's Ferrari 550 Maranello, the fourteenth signature silhouette is reimagined in two versions. One Piece x Nike Air Max Plus
For several months, Nike and One Piece have been preparing a collaboration around the manga by Eiichiro Oda. After the first details were revealed last year, the sportswear brand is finally showcasing a collection centered around three Devil Fruits: the Gomu Gomu no Mi, the Mera Mera no Mi, and the Ope Ope no Mi. For this occasion, the Air Max Plus is getting a makeover from the Swoosh team. Nearly three decades later, Nike retains the iconic TN construction while reworking the upper patterns to give each sneaker a unique identity directly linked to the fruit it’s inspired by.
