The sneaker world is definitely not done vibrating to the rhythm of Nigel Sylvester. After a marked collaboration on the Air Jordan 4, the BMX prodigy seems ready to do it again.
Originally from Queens in New York, Nigel Sylvester is not an athlete like the others. At the crossroads of urban culture, extreme sports, and style, he has embodied a modern and bold vision of the Jordan Brand for several years. Far from classic campaigns, Sylvester has managed to impose a universe of his own. Since 2018, every project he signs tells an intimate story imbued with his roots and journey, perfectly resonating with the legacy of the Jumpman. From the Air Jordan 1 High “Distressed” inspired by his BMX sessions, to the very expressive Air Jordan 4 “Brick by Brick”, his creations leave a mark.

While nothing has been officially confirmed yet, this new collaboration already sounds like a given. According to @sneakerfiles and @zsneakerheadz, an Air Jordan 4 nicknamed “Cinnabar” is currently in preparation. A pair more understated than the flamboyant “Brick by Brick”. Gone is the bright red, making way for a more nuanced palette, with a base dominated by off-white, a gray sole, and subtly distributed red accents that echo the Jordan 4 “Fire Red”.
Less flamboyant, but just as striking
Same narrative. Different energy. While this new design opts for a more discreet aesthetic, it does not renounce the narrative depth that characterizes Sylvester's work. Where the “Brick by Brick” celebrated resilience and personal elevation (two key values in his journey), this Air Jordan 4 seems to want to maintain that energy while exploring a more refined direction. The design, although less eye-catching, fits into a dynamic of OG codes while asserting a strong identity, respectful of the brand's traditions.

The existence of the pair leaked during a private event bringing together the iconic figures of the Jordan Brand on its 40th anniversary. Witnesses present reported seeing a new version on the feet of the New York rider, partially hidden under baggy jeans. Enough to spark curiosity. At a time when collaborations are multiplying, Nigel Sylvester stands out for his ability to infuse a real narrative into each of his creations. This second installment, if it materializes, would undoubtedly elevate his collaboration with Jordan and could very well be one of the most sought-after pairs of 2026.
