Since 2019, Yeezy Day has become a must-attend summer event and has become part of sneaker culture for our greatest pleasure. Thus, this fourth edition marked the days of August 2 and 3, 2022. Indeed, it first took place in the United States and Canada on August 2 and satisfied sneakerheads from both America and Canada. Then, it was Europe, China, Korea, and Japan's turn to experience these exhilarating festivities.

Undoubtedly the most publicized pair of this fourth Yeezy Day, the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 “Turtle Dove” was revealed in the middle of the morning via exclusive accesses. Indeed, this rare and precious composition was accessible to a few people while a drop via waiting line had just been revealed.

It was with the drop of the adidas Yeezy Boost 700 “Analog” that the event continued. This silhouette inspired by the Dad Shoes trend of the 90s was reissued for our greatest pleasure. To try your luck, all you had to do was click on its icon and participate in a drop via waiting line.

Teased for many months, the return of the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 “Turtle Dove” was supposed to happen on this long-awaited Yeezy Day. However, while a few people managed to gain exclusive access in the morning and secure their pair, it was not the same for everyone. Indeed, by 2pm, the sneaker addict community waited without seeing a trace of its presence on the app. Despite great patience, it ultimately never appeared and was replaced by exclusive accesses for the Yeezy Boost 700 “Wave Runner”, the Yeezy Boost 700 V2 “Static”, the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Dazzling Blue”, or even the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Desert Sage”.

It was then that the adidas Yeezy Slide “Glow Green” appeared the following hour and inaugurated the first slide of the day. If you hoped to cop this pair, you had to look carefully, as it was also revealed with a hidden drop at the bottom of the article for the Foam Runner “Onyx”. To get there, you had to click on a “;-)” emoji.
After a successful drop, it was the turn of the adidas Yeezy Boost 350V2 “Hyperspace” to make its appearance. First appearing in 2016 and made only in Asia, Australia, Africa, the Middle East, or even India, this Yeezy Day was the opportunity for lovers of the OG silhouette to try to cop this high-end model at retail price.

One of the most anticipated reissues finally made its appearance. It is of course the stunning Yeezy 700 V3 “Azael”. Particularly desired, this silhouette composed of a cream exoskeleton simply appeared in the form of a raffle that ended at 9pm.

It was early evening when a second Slide appeared. Indeed, Yeezy reissued the adidas Yeezy Slide “Ochre” for the greatest pleasure of fans of the silhouette who were starting to notice a low presence of the flagship version of the summer season. This was subject to a drop via waiting line, but technical issues prevented some people from participating.

As Yeezy Day 2022 came to an end, a wonderful surprise occurred for fans of the Yeezy Boost 350 "Turtle Dove" who were missing in action. Indeed, it reappeared via exclusive accesses and thus satisfied those who were lucky enough to obtain it.
A successful Yeezy Day?
The end of this event marks a large number of drops offered by Kanye West's label. While the releases followed one another throughout the day and delighted most of the community, they remain disappointed, as the event seems to have missed silhouettes of Foam Runner, Slides, or even the highly coveted “Turtle Dove”. Moreover, numerous bugs on the Adidas Confirmed app prevented many from copping.
Thus, this Yeezy Day seems to be at least mixed, it's a 50-50. A good number of sneakerheads enjoyed the event and others did not like it at all. We hope that Kanye's label will be able to manage the many technical issues present on the app next year and will be able to bring more summer silhouettes.
