Jordan unveils the first silhouettes from its Spring/Summer 2027 collection.
As Jordan continues to write its story each year, the sportswear brand seems to be gearing up for a 2027 season marked by nostalgia. With reissues, iconic colorways, and new interpretations of historic silhouettes, the Jordan range keeps drawing from its heritage to shape the first outlines of its spring lineup. Leading the charge this season: the Air Jordan 3. While Jordan's creative teams continue to expand the catalog of the third signature shoe of Michael Jordan (MJ), they appear especially determined to celebrate the history of a model that has never stopped transcending the ages.
The Air Jordan 3 Celebrates Its Classics
For 2027, the sportswear brand seems determined to dive back into its archives with several returns, starting with the Air Jordan 3 “Do the Right Thing”. Originally released in 2007, this sneaker is directly inspired by the world of Spike Lee and his influence on American culture. Nearly twenty years later, the silhouette is set to make a grand return with a strong identity. Blue nubuck. Premium details. Gray accents. No doubt, this sneaker boasts a faithful construction.

That’s not all. Jordan is also planning to bring back one of its most iconic designs: the Air Jordan 3 “White Cement”. A true staple of the catalog, this sneaker is one of the models that has stood the test of time without ever losing its influence. White upper. Touches of gray. Elephant print. The recipe remains unchanged and continues to be passed down. Already reissued several times, the White Cement represents for Jordan a new opportunity to remind everyone of its heritage and the historical importance of this silhouette that has accompanied His Airness since the early years of his career.

But while Jordan continues to celebrate its archives, the sportswear brand doesn’t forget to expand its catalog and is already planning to broaden its women’s range with a new exclusive: the Air Jordan 3 “Neo Pink”. Inspired by spring tones, this silhouette features a color blocking that recalls the Air Jordan 3 “Fire Red”. The finishing touch? The return of the Nike Air logo on the heel.

The Air Jordan 4 Returns to Tell the Story of Jordan
Like it or not, the Air Jordan 4 holds a special place in the lineup. Since its debut in 1989, MJ's fourth signature shoe has never stopped gaining popularity. In 2027, Jordan seems ready to dive back into its most iconic archives with several designs. After celebrating various chapters in recent years, the sportswear brand is set to bring back one of its most iconic packs: the Laser Pack.

Originally created in 2005 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Air Jordan line, the pack represents one of the most significant periods in the brand's evolution. At that time, Jordan sought to push the boundaries of its silhouettes by offering a more artistic approach, directly inspired by the Air Jordan 20, a shoe designed as an autobiography of Michael Jordan through its design. Behind this concept is a key figure in Nike's history: Mark Smith. Responsible for the laser patterns, he enabled Jordan to use a different method from traditional printing or embroidery techniques. For the first time since its inception, both versions will be brought together in a unique box.
The brand is also ready to pay tribute to college basketball with the Air Jordan 4 “Georgetown”. This sneaker draws inspiration from one of the most important moments in Michael Jordan's career. In 1982, while he was still a freshman college player wearing the North Carolina jersey, Michael Jordan made the game-winning shot that allowed the Tar Heels to defeat the Georgetown Hoyas in the NCAA final. A foundational moment, often seen as the beginning of the Michael Jordan legend on the court. After several player-exclusive editions, this silhouette is finally ready to hit the shelves.

After honoring the great figures of basketball, Jordan is also set to tell the story of the Air Jordan 4 MCS “Jackie Robinson”. Until now, Jordan models inspired by Jackie Robinson have been reserved exclusively for players, but that's about to change in 2027.

From Hip-Hop Culture to European Capitals
After celebrating several major figures in its history, it seems that Jordan is now looking to a period that profoundly marked its cultural influence. The 90s and early 2000s are often regarded as a golden era for hip-hop and streetwear culture. It’s precisely this influence that Jordan seems eager to capture with the Air Jordan 4 Musik. Inspired by the oversized silhouettes and extravagant aesthetics of that time, this J4 is ready to offer a bolder vision of the fourth signature shoe.

Finally, the collection is also set to travel across Europe. After the Air Jordan 4 “London”, the City range continues its exploration of major international capitals and is heading… to Berlin! Currently at the mock-up stage, this new design is expected to draw inspiration from the symbols of the German capital, particularly through its coat of arms featuring a black bear.

The Air Jordan 5, 6, and 11 Extend Jordan's Legacy
The Air Jordan 4 isn't the only silhouette getting special attention next season. The sportswear brand is going all out to develop its spring lineup by diving back into several significant chapters of its history, especially with the Air Jordan 5. As Phoenix prepares to host the NBA All-Star Game 2027, the Swoosh's basketball division seems ready to celebrate the event with a design directly inspired by the Arizona franchise. While this sneaker won't be released during the festivities weekend, it remains a tribute to one of the standout teams of the 2000s.

But the sportswear brand isn't just banking on its Player Exclusives. Jordan continues to revive its classics by preparing the return of a sneaker that has crossed generations without ever losing its popularity: the Air Jordan 6 “Carmine”. First released in 1991, this design is one of the most iconic colorways in Jordan's history. More than just a sneaker, it symbolizes a significant period in MJ's career: his first NBA title with the Chicago Bulls. Already reissued several times, including in the Countdown Pack in 2008, then in 2014 and more recently in 2021, the Carmine is set to make its return once again. For this new edition, the sportswear brand is expected to stay true to the original recipe. White leather base. Red nubuck overlays. Nike Air logo on the heel. No doubt, the sportswear brand is ready to offer a reproduction as faithful as possible to the original model.

Finally, Jordan is also set to bring back one of the most beloved colorways of its eleventh signature shoe with the return of the Air Jordan 11 Low “Cherry”. Originally released in 2001, this design was one of the first models to feature patent leather. After a first reissue in 2016, this summer classic is now ready to make its comeback. White mesh. Patent leather. Icy translucent sole. No doubt, Jordan doesn't seem to want to change a recipe that has proven itself time and again.
