As every week, the sneaker world has been marked by numerous announcements. Between new designs and reinterpretations, there has been movement. Details!
No Off-White x Air Jordan 1 High this winter
Bad news for collectors. The Off-White x Air Jordan 1 High OG will not hit sneaker shelves this winter. Scheduled for December 2025, this highly anticipated reissue of Virgil Abloh's masterpiece, with its pristine white and iconic deconstructed design, sees its release suspended indefinitely. While some are already imagining a possible delay to early 2026, no official confirmation has been given. For now, the pair remains out of reach, heightening the anticipation surrounding it.
Nike claws back against Edison Chen
The break is official... and now judicial. After nearly twenty years of creative alliances, the sportswear brand is taking legal action against Edison Chen claiming $126,615,000 for goods and services provided to Juice, his company. Filed on August 12, the lawsuit pertains to a breach of contract and comes more than a year after Chen ended his collaboration with the Swoosh to launch projects with the three stripes brand: adidas. The precise details of the alleged violations remain unclear, but the end of this relationship marks a symbolic turning point: from the Air Max 1 “Kiss of Death”, the Air Force 1 Low, to the multiple Air Jordans signed by CLOT, a chapter of sneaker culture is closing.
Aminé teases a new creative chapter
The rumor is taking shape on a sunny sidewalk. A black sign, stamped with the New Balance logo and signed by the Portland rapper, reveals the first hints of a new collaboration: new pair, ephemeral pop-up, or any other unexpected project? Following the resounding success of the New Balance 740, it seems that the two partners are more ready than ever to kickstart the machine. While no announcement has been made yet, one thing is certain: a new silhouette could soon see the light of day. To be continued!
Yu-Gi-Oh x Nike: the duel date is set
The two partners are going on the attack. After unveiling the first visuals of the Air Max 95 inspired by the Air Muscle, the collection is shaping up around two silhouettes: the “Joey” colorway ready for a global launch on September 12 on SNKRS and in a selection of shops, accompanied by a capsule collection. The second colorway, on the other hand, will only be available in the Japanese market. Two pairs, two strategies... and one certainty: the game is on. Between nods to legendary cards and sharp design, these pairs could well summon the power of the Millennium Puzzle.
