New Balance 1890 Morel
For several seasons, New Balance has been exploring the realm of the moccasin, creating silhouettes that intentionally blur the lines. The latest release: the New Balance 1890. Continuing the trend set by the 1906L, this sneaker takes the concept even further by combining a Wallabee moccasin upper with an ABZORB sole borrowed from the New Balance 2002. New Balance Abzorb 2000s Yellow
At New Balance, revisiting the past has become a signature. For several seasons now, the Boston brand has been having fun reinterpreting its iconic silhouettes. The latest silhouette to drop is the New Balance 1906L. While mixing a loafer with a sneaker is still experimental territory, seeing a new interpretation of the New Balance 2000 is definitely noteworthy. Here, the design breaks away from the technical aesthetic of the original model to take a more streamlined approach. The upper features a lighter mesh, complemented by reinforcements that add structure. Another significant evolution is the branding. The “N” logos, once everywhere, have faded in favor of more subtle signatures. The eyelets, meanwhile, become invisible, enhancing the desire to streamline the silhouette and give it a more futuristic dimension. However, the architecture remains true to its original DNA with a sturdy construction and an ever-imposing Abzorb sole. The sneaker drops on July 16 at New Balance.
