Here, the design breaks away from the technical aesthetic of the original model to take a more streamlined approach. The upper features a lighter mesh, complemented by reinforcements that add structure. Another significant evolution is the branding. The “N” logos, once everywhere, have faded in favor of more subtle signatures. The eyelets, meanwhile, become invisible, enhancing the desire to streamline the silhouette and give it a more futuristic dimension. However, the architecture remains true to its original DNA with a sturdy construction and an ever-imposing Abzorb sole. The sneaker drops on July 16 at New Balance.
